audio programs to suit the
client's taste. Each program is
transmitted to its location from
the corporate headquarters on
an FM radio station.
The company has access to a
satellite music channel that al-
lows the company to develop
programs for any site in the
United States.
Among their clients are Vic
Tanny, Kmart, Ontario-based
Big V Drug Store chain, Michi-
gan National Bank and Parti-
Giant. By the end of the year,
custom programs will be de-
signed for the St. Louis-based
Venture Stores and Phar-Mor
Drugs, a national chain. ❑

Fibronics Is
Improving

ibronics continued to im-
prove its financial situa-
tion as it reported reduced
losses for the third quar-

ter.
The computer communica-
tions provider announced a net
loss of $1.9 million in the third
quarter compared with a net
loss of $3 million the same quar-
ter 1nst year. During this year's
second quarter, the firm showed
a net loss of $1.3 million on rev-
enues of $13.4 million.
Even though revenues
dropped during the quarter, Fi-
bronics reported that orders at
the beginning of the fourth
quarter were up by 40 percent
to $4.3 million, compared to or-
ders at the beginning of the
third quarter.
Fibronics president Gil
Weisser pointed out that the
company is continuing to cut its
costs and take efficiency mea-
sures.
During the third quarter, the
Haifa-based firm reported
contracts for Rochester Gas &
Electric in New York and Puer-
to Rico's Treasury, as well as a
teamwork agreement with
electronics giant AEG to include
Fibronics' products in its com-
puter communications solu-
tions. ❑
