"My family learned about
the Heatherwood lifestyle...
the government to guar-
antee the safety of Jews liv-
ing in the West Bank and
Gaza Strip.
Likud party leaders said
that if the PLO could not
stop the attacks, Israel
should stop negotiating with
the PLO.
Cabinet ministers briefed
about the latest terrorist at-
tack during their weekly
meeting were clearly
angered. But they reiterated
the government's position
that extremists must not be
permitted to destroy the
peace process.
This is another "terrible
attempt to kill the peace
process by killing Israelis,"
said Health Minister Chaim
Ramon.
"We have to continue with
the peace process as if there
is no terror, and we have to
fight terror as if there is no
peace process," said Envi-
ronment Minister Yossi
Sarid, repeating a line often
used by Prime Minister Yit-
zhak Rabin. ❑

"I haven't had this much fun in years! I've met new friends. I'm involved
in activities. I'm happy — and so is my family. Before, housekeeping was a

Now, my family has peace of mind...and I'm having the time of my life!"

Gunmen reportedly
sprayed the car with bullets

The attack prompted calls
