HomeHealth Exchange nurse Margaret Stateczny administers home care to a patient

gic alliances with other agen-
cies and institutions."
HomeHealth Exchange is in
the midst of forming a "strate-
gic alliance" with Fleischman
Residence, part of the Jewish
Home for Aged (JHA). After
years of working with Mr.
Bloom, the current JHA execu-
tive director, Denise Bortolani-
Rabidoux, recommended his

services to Lucy Miller, director
of Fleischman, who says she
has used the company's services
with great satisfaction.
Mr. Bloom and Ms. Miller
worked out a preferred provider
agreement in which Fleischman
Residence recommends the
services of HomeHealth Ex-
change to members of the com-
munity. In return, HomeHealth
Exchange has agreed to provide

a registered nurse supervisor
who will make regular visits to
Fleischman to monitor the
companions and nurse aides
provided through Health Ex-
change.
"It provides a competitive
edge for us," he said. "Home
health care will be strong,
very strong into the indefinite
future. And that will be our fu-
ture." 0

"People place big values on
their pets," she said. "But peo-

going to spend that money. I
wondered why there wasn't
health insurance for dogs and

Ms. Chernoff, president and
CEO of the Birmingham-based

McDonalds Is The McWinner

McDonald's has secured its
limited license to import fries

With Blessings from the
Ministry of Agriculture, Mc-

The burger giant needs to in-
vest some heavy dollars for lo-
cal promotions, yet it has not

picked an ad agency.
As McDonald moves for-
ward with its plans, Pizza
Hut, which hopes to expand,
has been facing some major
set backs. The Agriculture
ministry has denied Pizza
Hut's application to increase
its import quota of mozzarel-
la cheese, a core ingredient.
