Q ince its inception two
kiyears ago, the Sinai

has enhanced support to
Sinai Hospital in a vari-
ety of ways.
The Foundation rais-
es and administers funds
to meet the healthcare
needs of the community.
Thanks to many gener-
ous donors in the com-
munity, the Foundation
is meeting its mission of
providing continued sup-
port to Michigan's only

tal and is helping main-
tain a tradition of
excellence in medical
care, research and teach-
ing. Bruce Gershenson
chairs the Foundation
Board of Trustees.
The Foundation's
many activities include:
Sponsors Club. This an-
nual effort was begun
several months ago, and
already has more than

given a total of $15,000.
Each $50 annual gift is
listed in the quarterly

year. To date, nearly
$200,000 has been raised

whom is listed on the
Founding 500 Wall of
Honor in Sinai's Outer
Drive Lobby. All $500
gifts to this campaign are
added to the Wall.
Endowment Funds. There
are many types of giving
opportunities which offer
a source of permanent
funding for areas of ser-
vice. Endowment gifts
may also be made in con-
junction with the United
Jewish Foundation.
Tribute Gifts. Tributes of
$5 or more provide a
