Stages 'Gorilla'

Skeletons, screams, and secret
panels are among the ingredi-
ents for the Henry Ford Muse-
um Theater season finale The

Gorilla.
There's a gorilla on the loose
in this 1925 concoction of mys-
tery and mirth by Ralph
Spence. A pair of bungling de-
tectives, who are attempting to
outwit an extortionist known as
the gorilla,' come up against the
real thing.
Performances are Fridays
and Saturdays at 8 p.m. Nov. 6
plus a Sunday matinee at 4:30
p.m. on Oct. 17.

Season Opens

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, the dra-
ma of a Southern family in cri-
sis, will kick of Arm Arbor Civic
Theatre's 1993-1994 Second
Stage season. Performances are
Nov. 4-20, on Thursdays, Fri-
days and Saturdays at 8 p.m. at
AACTs Theatre Arts Complex.

The Michigan Dollmakers
Guild will have its 15th annu-
al doll show and sale Oct. 31
at the Northfield Hilton-Troy.
The Michigan Dollmakers
Guild is a non-profit organiza-
tion. Dolls and bears are do-
nated to the Macomb County
Social Services and distributed
to the needy.
