traditional labor room, a birthing room or a Labor, Delivery and
Recovery (LDR) room. And, you'll get to know your new baby in
the home-like environment of a private postpartum room.
Beaumont's new postpartum rooms have a full-size bath,
hardwood floors, a refrigerator and a rocker-recliner for Dad.
For new mom Deborah Reinheimer, the nurturing care of
Beaumont's Obstetrics staff and the comfort of Beaumont's
mom-friendly Obstetrics Unit helped make her delivery
the special experience she had hoped for.
N It was my first baby, so I was kind of nervous.

They made sure I was comfortable and made
me feel like the only patient there. My nurse
was like my own personal coach. She was
there through my entire labor and delivery
all 10 hours.
