Loren and Phyllis Opper of

their daughter, Alison Beth, to
Brandon Edward Auster, son
of Larry and Cookie Auster of
Houston, Texas, formerly of
West Bloomfield.
Alison earned a bachelor of
science degree in cellular and
molecular biology at the Uni-
versity of Michigan. She is a re-
searcher in the Department of
Neurobiology at Northwestern
University. Brandon earned a
degree in finance and public
policy at the Wharton School of
the University of Pennsylvania.
He is a benefits consultant at
Hewitt Associates in Lin-
colnshire, Ill.
A May wedding is planned.

married at the Hotel Baronette
in Novi. Rabbi Dannel
Schwartz of Temple Shir
Shalom officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Zachary and Hetty Davies of
Oak Park. The groom is the son
of Jim and Cathie Gibson of
Taipei, Taiwan, formerly of
Northville.
Bonnie Davies, the bride's
sister, was the maid of honor.
Melissa Belevender was the
matron of honor. Susan Moss,
Kathleen Cullen, and Martha
Davis-Merritts were brides-
maids. Rachel Gersten was the
junior bridesmaid. Claire Anne
Belevender was the flower girl.
The best man was Joseph
Sloan. Other groomsmen in-
cluded Anthony Schaeffler,
Dennis Belevender, Nolan Os-
trowski and Scott Merritts.
Dane Rothenberg was the ring
bearer.
Following a honeymoon in
Hawaii, the couple are living in
Highland Heights, Ky.
