niors at an intercongregational
luncheon and program noon
Oct. 20 at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue.

Seniors will host the event.
Penny Steyer was born and
raised in New York by her par-
ents, who were both active in
show business. During her teen
years, Penny worked as a singer
and guitarist at clubs and pri-
vate parties and also served as
cantor for Sunday school ser-
vices at her synagogue. She at-

and graduated with a degree in
music education.
She has toured Romania and
Poland and has appeared with
the Miami Philharmonic and
the Detroit and Windsor Sym-
phony Orchestras. She serves
as the choir director at Temple
Shir Shalom.
To attend the luncheon and
program, make reservations by
Oct. 11 through respective syn-
agogue seniors groups. There is
a fee.

To Study Bible

The Rebbitzin's Tish, a singles
Bible study group, will resume
its monthly meetings as it be-
gins its second year 7:30-9:30
p.m. Oct. 14 at 17235 Shervilla

Singles of all ages are welcome.
Each meeting will offer a
