Beginning Oct. 14, the Mid-
rasha Center for Adult Jewish
Learning will offer two 12-week
classes in Jewish mysticism and
Kabbala taught by Rabbi Elim-
elech Silberberg of Bais Chabad
Torah Center of West Bloom-
field. There are prerequisites
for each of these courses.
"Introduction to Jewish Mys-
ticism" will meet Thursday
mornings from 10-11 a.m. at
the Midrasha, 21550 West 12
Mile Road. Due to the nature of
the subject, a certain amount of
previous Jewish study is a pre-
requisite for taking this course.
Prospective students should
consult with Rabbi Silberberg
by calling 855-6170.
Students who took the intro-
ductory course with Rabbi Sil-
berberg, or have the equivalent
background in the study of Jew-
ish mysticism, are invited to
register for "Intermediate Jew-
ish Mysticism," which will meet
11 a.m.-noon at the Midrasha.
This course will expand upon
themes discussed in the intro-
ductory course, using the Tanya
as a text. Prospective students
who have not studied this sub-
ject previously with Rabbi Sil-
berberg should consult with
him by calling 855-6170, before
registering.
There is a tuition fee for each
