The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit is the central
communal organization of the Jewish community.

The Federation, in partnership with its agencies, plays the leadership
role in identifying needs within the Jewish community and in mobilizing
human and financial resources, engaging in communal planning and alloca-
tion and advocating to meet those needs. The Federation remains committed
to meeting the human service needs of families and individuals. The Federa-
tion seeks to further the relationship between the Jewish community and the
community at large in the Detroit metropolitan area.

The Federation, working with other local Jewish institutions, is
committed to ensuring the continuity of the Jewish people by:
