Names Chairmen

Ida Stein has been appointed
special gifts chairman and
Ida Nathan as luncheon
chairman of the B'nai B'rith
Women Council.
Mrs. Stein is a past presi-
dent of BBW Council and
past president of the former
Gershwin Chapter BBW. She
is an active member of Mor-
gantheau Chapter. Mrs. Stein
also is a past chairman of the
BBYO board and was award-
ed the National BBYO Ser-
vice key.
Mrs. Nathan also is a coun-
cil past president and past
president of Morgantheau
Chapter BBW. She is on the
Michigan Region Board of
BBYO and has been a teacher
at Temple Israel for 33 years.
The annual Special Gifts
Luncheon will be held Oct. 31
at Congregation B'nai Moshe.
This year's honoree will be
Dorothy Bodzin.
Keynote speaker for the
event will be Joan Kort, cur-
rent national president of
B'nai B'rith Women. Funds
raised through this luncheon
and BBW Youth and Services
Appeal support the Residen-
tial Treatment Center for
emotionally disturbed chil-
dren in Israel, now in its 50th
year.
