U-M Hillel
Plans Events

The Hillel Foundation at the
University of Michigan, Ann
Arbor, will host the following
events.
Shulchan Ivrit will meet in
the Tap Room of the Michigan
Union 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4.
Israeli dancing will take
place 8-10 p.m. Oct. 3 at Hillel.
Beginners as well as experi-
enced dancers are invited to
learn and dance. There is a
charge.
The Reform Havurah will
have a pot-luck vegetarian din-
ner in the sukkah 6:30 p.m. Oct.
3 at Hillel. ❑

of West Bloomfield was elected
international president-elect of
Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity at
its 80th anniversary convention
in Washington, D.C.

MARVIN FAILER has been
selected as Hohoree of the Year
by Temple Beth El in Flint. Mr.
Failer has served as vice pres-
ident and president of Temple
Beth El as well as chairman
and member of several rabbinic
search committees. He also was
an active member of the ritual
Beth El Memorial Park and
