Mike Krieger plays at Boo-
dles four of the evenings, Fri-
day-Monday (the other three
nights are Joe Armino) . . . His
easy-going vocal and piano
styling seems to get better as
the evening progresses . . . and
Mike does something very few
pianists do . . . He makes it easy
for people with requests by giv-
ing them a printed sheet with
almost 150 song titles from
which to choose.
If the one they want isn't on
the list, chances are that Mike
can fill the request anyway .. .
His vast repertoire ranges from

Larry Goldstein, owner of
Bagelstein's Restaurant and
Catering, was recently named
"Outstanding Restaurateur" for
the Dallas, Texas, region by its
1,044-member Dallas Restau-
rant Association.
He is presently first vice pres-
ident of the DRA, on its execu-
tive committee and board of
directors . . . Larry also serves
as a board member of the 6,400-
strong Texas Restaurant Asso-
ciation.
Now 44 years old, he began
in the food service business here
when 20, with a 55-seat coffee
shop, later moving to a bagel-
deli operation in Toledo, Ohio
. . . After marrying Susan Fuller
and relocating in Dallas, Larry
opened a bagel bakery in 1978
. . . He sold only bagels and
cream cheese for a short time
before expanding the store into
a full-service bakery . . . In 1980,
a deli was added, and then
Bagelstein's was opened in
1984.
Larry is the son of localites
Herb and Adele Goldstein .. .
and Susan is the daughter of
Marvin Fuller and Marion Sud-
hoff.

before their marriage at Ritz
Carlton for almost 800 people
. . . Kaleford forgot his tux and
had to go back . . . A cop didn't
sympathize with him, and gave
Kaleford a speeding ticket wed-
ding present.
Wing must have brought
some of his kitchen employees
to help with the dinner .. .

crispy chicken, rice with shrimp,
salad, veggies and fruit salad.
THANKS TO Jordan Rad-
er's golf balls, I can now play in
the seventies . . . and do even
better on the second hole.
