Barbara Ann Schiff at a din-
ner meeting 6 p.m. Sept. 21
at the Skyline Club of South-
field's Prudential Town Cen-
ter.
A psychotherapist in a
Birmingham private practice
and co-owner of The Workout
Co., Ms. Schiff will discuss
the national "preoccupation"
with eating, dieting and ap-
pearance and the ways they
affect women's images of
themselves.
She writes a weekly advice
column for the Observer-Ec-
centric newspapers and ap-
pears on WXYZ TV-7's
"Company."
Registration begins at 6
p.m. and the dinner and pro-
gram at 6:30 p.m.
There is a charge for the
gathering, but there will be
no solicitation of gifts. For
