Prepare noodles according to
package directions. Drain and
wash in cold water. Add ap-
ples, lemon juice, preserves, 1/4
cup sugar, cinnamon, oil and
raisins. Mix well. Beat eg-
gwhites until foamy, adding
1 /4 cup sugar and baking
powder gradually. Continue
beating until stiff. Use non-
stick spray in 16x10 1/4x21
inch rectangular pan.
Sprinkle lightly with cor-
nflake crumbs. Pour noodle
mixture into pan and
sprinkle with additional cin-
namon. Bake kugel in 350
degree oven for 11/2 hours.
Serves 20-24.
One serving: 150 calories, 3
brams fat.

SWEETENED CARROTS
Ingredients:
8 cups sliced carrots
1 /4 cup orange juice
2, 16-ounce cans fruit
cocktail
1 /4 cup honey
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in
a saucepan. Cover and cook
over low heat 25 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Makes
24, 1/2 cup servings.
