DR. ALLEN S. LICHTER,
chairman of the department of
radiation oncology at the Uni-
versity of Michigan Medical
Center in Ann Arbor, recently
spent several months on
sabbatical at Hadassah
Hospital in Jerusalem. The
focus of Dr. Lichter's sabbatical
was to research and write
portions of a new textbook on
clinical oncology and to assist
the oncology department at
Hadassah Hospital install the
University of Michigan com-
puter software used in the
treatment planning of radiation
therapy.

Hope's regional Tabak Award,
which honors outstanding indi-
vidual fund-raising efforts. As

birthday celebration of the
medical center at its Biennial
Convention in Beverly Hills.
