Irish Times
Apologizes

New York (JTA) — The Irish
Times has issued a public
apology for publishing a car-
toon that the Anti-
Defamation League attack-
ed as anti-Semitic.
The cartoon, which ap-
peared in the July 31 issue of
the paper, depicted a
dinosaur wearing a Star of
David helmet chasing
frightened people fleeing
from a war zone.
It was titled "Jewrassic
Park, AKA Southern Leb-
anon." ❑
