Dr. Sheldon L. Brenner, 53, of West Bloomfield, died Aug. 17. He was a pediatrician with Children's Hospital since 1972 and was named chief of staff in 1990. He helped supervise medical stu- dent and resident educational programs and helped develop a cadre of ambulatory care physicians devoted to educa- tion, investigation and pedi- atric health care delivery. He was active in interna- tional, national and state organizations. He served on committees of the Ambula- tory Pediatric Association, the Michigan Protection and Advocacy Council, Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Department of Education for the State of Michigan. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathy in 1966.
