son, Yonatan Eliezer, was
born to Alan and Geela Gor-
don (nee Applebaum). Grand-
parents are Rabbi and Mrs.
James I. Gordon and Rabbi
and Mrs. Emanuel Apple-
baum. Rabbi Gordon is Rabbi
Emeritus of the Young Israel
of Oak-Woods in Oak Park
and Rabbi Applebaum is a
former principal of Hillel Day
School in Farmington Hills.
The baby was named for his
maternal great-grandfather.
