Cardiac Catheterization .. .
state-of-the-art diagnostic care
now close to home

zhak Rabin not to allow the
return of the deportees.
Likud leader Benjamin
Netanyahu said that be-
cause of the large number of
recent murderous attacks by
the Hamas and Islamic
Jihad factions, there is no
rationale for their return.
The deportation of such a
large number of Palestin-
ians aroused a storm of pro-
test throughout the world
and had threatened to derail
the peace talks earlier this
year.
But within Israel, the ex-
pulsion succeeded in bring-
ing praise to Mr. Rabin from
opposition groups that had
been complaining about his
lack of vigor in dealing with
the continuing violence in
the administered ter-
ritories. ❑

You no longer need to
travel any farther than
Huron Valley Hospital for
cardiac catheterization
procedures and diagnostics.

Precision equipment and
highly-skilled personnel are
now in place to perform
this important procedure.

The Huron Valley Cardiac
Catheterization Lab is
professionally staffed
by special procedures
technologists, registered
nurses and a cardiovascular
technologist, offering over
50 years of combined
experience in cardiac care.
The new Cath Lab is
another reason to choose
Huron Valley Hospital for
all your health needs.

Storks Migrate
Over Israel

Tel Aviv (JTA) — The first
large flock of storks on their
annual migration from
Europe to Africa were
sighted over Israel,
heralding the approach of
winter.
The flight consisted of
some thousand of the large
white birds, out of a total of
some quarter of a million
who leave their summer
homes in Central and East-
ern Europe to escape the
coming cold of winter for the
warmth of Africa.
They will return nor-
thward over the same route
next spring. Very few of the
passengers remain more
than 24 hours in Israel, but
some pairs are said to return
to the same tree to nest
every year.
Their migration is so accu-
rate according to the calen-
dar that the Israeli air force
enforces special flight paths
for its non-emergency flights
each year from Aug. 15 for a
week or so to avoid collisions
with the migrating storks.
According to The Birds of
Israel (Uzi Paz, Israel Min-
istry of Defense Publishing
House, 1988), the storks
begin to arrive in Israel on
their migratory flight south
as early as the last week of
July and continue into the
second half of October.
Stork residents of Western
Europe take a more westerly
flight path, over the Straits
of Gibraltar to winter homes
in western Africa.
Millions of other smaller
migratory birds take the
same land bridge routes, but
not on the same regular
calendar basis as the storks
— the traditional bringers of
babies. ❑

Tissue Paper and Clothes

We are proud of the artful cleaning and the
fine finish our pressing gives your clothes. But
nothing ruins our work like hanging on a
hanger in a crowded closet. So we stuff each
garment with tissue paper to help keep the fine
pressed finish. We stuff the sleeves, body and
collar with tissue paper so that the garment
will be ready to go when you are.

Skillfully Stuffed:

One of the many reasons why knowledgeable
customers say:
"MY Cleaners is my cleaners."
