`Eisenberg's Children'

6 0 n Saturday nights, teenage

and pre-teenage bids get
together in the center of
Jerusalem to dance. It's really
one of the things that makes
Israel such a wholesome place,
which we too often lose sight of.'

I

seemed to have always

found this little kid at the
Wall. He is an extremely
curious youngster. In this
picture he is helping a soldier
put on tefillin before praying
at the wall. If you have a
camera or video, he's the first
kid to come up and find out

what you're doing. This was a
time right in the middle of
the intifada, and after I took
this picture I came to believe
that Israel itself is the third
temple. And because of that
realization, this picture has
special meaning for me.'
