tion from Yeshiva Uni-
versity.
"In Israel, we formed a lot
of our ideas and ideals —
Zionism, moving to Israel to
live and raising a Jewish
family. It would have been
tough to find someone in
Detroit with those same
goals," Mrs. Kuhr said.
Mr. Kuhr claims his wife
is not a typical 19-year-old.
She is interested in finish-
ing school, having many
children and moving back to
Israel to live on a kibbutz.
Both say they are not
sorry to have missed the
singles scene. Yet they are
among the youngest of their
friends in Detroit to marry,
and at times it is odd.
"Sometimes it feels a little
bit like playing house," Mrs.
Kuhr said. ❑ •
