The First Annual JCC Bagel
Run, sponsored by the Jewish
Community Center of
Washtenaw County, will be
held at Gallup Park Aug. 15
starting at 9 a.m. The event
consists of a 5K (3.5 miles)
run/walk and a one-mile fami-
ly fun run/walk with strollers
included.
Awards will be presented to
the top three participants in
each age division, and
everyone who finishes will
receive a ribbon. Entry fees
include a T-shirt, raffle,
awards and post-race
refreshments. T-shirts are
free to all those who pre-
register. T-shirts also will be
on sale at the race.
The JCC Bagel Run is spon-
sored by Barry's Bagels, the
Sheraton Inn and the Jewish
Community Center. Proceeds
from the Bagel Run will send
local youth to the North
American JCC Maccabi
Games.

Weinstein as its 1993-94
president.
