Names Chairman

The Michigan BBYO board of
directors has recently elected
Steve Schanes of West Bloom-
field as chairman for the
1993-94 program year. Mr.
Schanes has been a member
of the BBYO board of direc-
tors since 1987 and has serv-
ed for the past three years as
vice chairman.
Elected to serve with Mr.
Schanes as vice chairmen
were Richard Blumenstein,
Allan Feuer and Ida Nathan;
elected as secretary was Ben
Waxenberg. Completing the
executive committee are Ir-
win Alterman, David Bittker,
Bruce Gorosh asnd Valerie
Hayman Sklar.
Those elected to serve as
delegates-at-large through
1994 are Jody Aaron, Owen
Alterman, Joshua Berris,
Karen Gold, Lawrence
Hyman, Janice Lachman,
Stacy Lezell, Jessica Light, Il-

hold its installation of officers
7:30 p.m. July 19 at the Agen-
cy for Jewish Education
building.
Joe Medwed will be install-
ed as president. Dr. Leon War-
shay will serve as vice presi-
dent and chair of the ex-
ecutive committee. Alice Her-
man will be installed as
secretary and Sara Schiff as
treasurer.
Liz Hurwitz, Steve Goldin,
Ann Barnett, Saul Reubin,
Harmon Bayer, Norman
Naimark, Helen Naimark,
John O'Neill and Shoshana
Wolok will be committee
chairs for the coming year.

Mr. Robert Aronson, ex-
