Alpha Omega Elects
New Chapter Leaders

The Detroit Alumni Chapter,
Detroit Auxiliary and the
Dental School chapters of the
Alpha Omega International
Dental Fraternity recently
held their annual installation
dinner-dance.
Dr. Gary M. Berman was in-
stalled as the 64th president
of the Detroit Chapter of
Alpha Omega. Dr. Berman
practices general dentistry in
Belleville and Westland has
been active in Alpha Omega
since his initiation as a
member of Chi chapter at the
University of Michigan in
1977. Dr. Berman is a mem-
ber of the American Dental
Association, Michigan Dental
Association as well as the
local affiliates of these
organizations.
Other alumni officers in-
stalled are: president-elect,
Dr. Ester Sleutelberg; secre-
tary, Dr. Lawrence Morton;
editor, Dr. Gordon Shlom;
treasurer, Dr. Paul Darmon.
Council members installed
are: Drs. Lloyd Alpert,
Richard Bernstein, Mitchell

sity. She has served on

cluding president of the mar-
ried group, chairperson of the
temple auction; she is a
member of the choir.
Officers installed in the
auxiliary include: vice presi-
dent, Barbara Friedman;
treasurer, Nancy Weinfeld;
secretaries, Miriam Cohen,
Fran Sonne and Laura Miller.
