Children's
Theater Series

"Showtime at the Play
House," a series of outdoor
theater performances for
children, will be at the Edsel
and Eleanor Ford House in
Grosse Pointe Shores.
On five consecutive Tues-
day evenings, beginning July
6, the Play House will serve
as the backdrop for children's
theater performances and pic-
nic suppers. Each perfor-
mance will begin at 6:30 p.m.
and last approximately one
hour.
The grounds will be open at
5:30 p.m. for families to bring
in their own picnic suppers
before the performances. The
shows will be held on the
meadow, and blankets or
lawn chairs are recom-
mended.
