ing mostly dry soup mixes

banner at the supermar-

first time - the Carmel
logo. Carmel is the label
for the products of
Agrexco, a cooperative
composed of Israeli fruit
and vegetable producers,
similar to the Sunkist
group in the United
States.
Frederick Cohen, pro-
duce sales manager for

Agrexco (U.S.A.) Ltd. of
Jamaica, N.Y., said that
his company made its
first supermarket conven-
tion appearance to intro-
duce high-level U.S. food
executives to high-quality
Carmel products.
"We thought it might
open up some new
avenues," he said. "We
