Europe will hold com-
mencement exercises 11
a.m. June 20 at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
Jewish Community Cen-
ter. The program will fea-
ture class performances
and achievement awards.
The highlight will be a
dramatic presentation fea-
turing music and poetry
honoring the bat mitzvah
girls Marina Mazur,
Victoria Shapiro, Inna
Shub, Helen Slutsky,
Anna Yemets, their moth-
ers and grandmothers.
Jewish woman.
Esther Chernomordik, a
Russian educator at
Washtenaw College in
Ann Arbor, will speak
about the role of the
Jewish woman in modern
society. A dessert recep-
tion will follow.

Israel Mission
Set For Fall

The Detroit Region's Artzenu
III Mission to Israel will take
place Oct. 24-Nov. 3 for ages
25-40.
The price for this 11-day
tour is $1799 per person from
New York, which includes a
$500 contribution.
