Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield, was selected to
attend the gifted program at
MacMurray College in Il-
linois this summer. She will
study lasers and quantum
physics.

ROBYN DANA MESSING,

a junior at Midland High
School, will be awarded a
$300 Michigan regional prize
for her essay titled "American
Values in the Community."
The essay was entered in the
Skirball Institute Essay Con-
test, sponsored by the
American Jewish Committee.
