WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ja — Spotlight Tour Set For June 21 The fifth annual Spotlight Tour of Detroit's Theatre District will take place 5:30-9:30 p.m. June 21. It is a walking tour of the Grand Circus Park area including seven theaters, two churches and six cultural centers. Each stop offers historical tours, live entertainment, celebrity hosts and edibles. The Spotlight Tour benefits the not-for-profit Grand Cir- cus Park Development Asso- ciation, dedicated to the restoration and development of Detroit's expanding enter- tainment district. Spotlight highlights this year include Tiger announcer Ernie Harwell acting as celebrity host at the Fox Theatre; a restoration in pro- gress at the United Artists Theatre; live jazz music from the Graystone International Jazz Museum; a clown troupe and youth theater at the Music Hall; 89X DJ Kelly Brown at the State Theatre; the Detroit-Windsor Dance Academy performing on Greater Historic Broadway street; and the Swords Into Plowshares art gallery will exhibit works by a father-son team from Prague titled European Images of Peace.
