believing it helps keep
Jewish heritage alive.
As she evaluates her
achievements, Ms.
Kauders also sets some
goals.
"I feel very good and
very positive, but far from
finished because I have
not accomplished all that I
want to do," she said. "I'd
like to star in a TV series.
"I came out of structured
life. I knew where I was
going to be from 8:30 until
ad infinitum because I had
one of those jobs that was
not 9-5. It just went on all
the time. I liked knowing
where I was going to be
Monday-Friday, and that's
what I like about a TV
series."
"The Square Root of
Three" is being performed
at the West Bloomfield
Jewish Community Center
through June 27. Perfor-
mances begin at 8 p.m.
Wednesdays, Thursdays,
and Sundays and 9 p.m.
Saturdays. Matinees are at
2 p.m. Sundays. An after-
noon show, which will be
signed for the hearing
impaired, is scheduled for

Reading Program
For Children

West Bloomfield

Township
Public Library will present
"Make a Splash! Read!," a
summer reading program
open to children of all ages,
June 1. through July 30. The
first 500 children to register
at either library can "reel in"
a book bag.
After registering, children
receive a reading log to record
time spent reading. A Read-
To-Me log is available for the
very young. Weekly drawings
for prizes will be held at each
library. Children who com-
plete the program receive a
certificate.
