For Men Presidium Serves At Adat Shalom Celia Lubetsky, Beverly Yost and Sharon Lubetsky will serve as members of the Adat Shalom Sisterhood Presidium for the 1993-94 year. Together with other officers and board members, the three women will be installed following sisterhood's annual Shachrit service 10 a.m. June 7. A luncheon will be served, and Cantor Larry and Gitta Vieder will be honored for their years of service to sisterhood. Celia Lubetsky served as sisterhood's membership vice president from 1991 to 1993. Her work on behalf of Hadassah earned her a "Woman of the Year" Award from the Shalom chapter. Celia also has served as chair- man of the National Council of Jewish Women Dor 1' Dor Concert and the Federation of Metropolitan Detroit Women's Division Food for Thought Program. Beverly Yost served as sisterhood programming vice president for 1992-93 and has chaired sisterhood's joint pro- gram with the Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood for the past two years. The communi- ty affairs associate for the Jewish Community Council, Beverly has had a lengthy professional involvement with the Council. Sharon Lubetsky has had several sisterhood vice presidencies and chairman- ships. In addition, she sat on the synagogue board of trustees and the Mat Shalom Youth Commission. Sharon has been active at Hillel Day School and is a life member of several community organizations.
