Music Club
Sets Installation

The Music Study Club of
Metropolitan Detroit will
hold its annual installation
luncheon 12:30 p.m. June 8 at
Temple Beth El.
The following officers and
board members will be in-
stalled: president, Bernice
Pinsky; vice presidents,
Elaine Kohner, Mildred Char-
nas; secretaries, Mimi Sum-
mers, Ann Ross, Patricia
Stobbe; treasurer, Annette
Liberson.
New board members are: for
two years, Vera Rollin-Burke,
Janet Landsberg, Joyce
Margolis. For one year, Tillie
Schkloven, Ann Steinberg,
Betty Weiss.
A musical program will
follow the installation cere-
mony. The Music Study Club
Choral group, under new
director Laura Schwartz and
accompanist Zina Astrakhan,
will perform. Scholarship
awardee, Gabriel Bolkowsky,
violinist, also will perform.
There is a charge for the
luncheon. For information,

Torah Exchange program,
two lunchtime mini-confer-
ences will be held. The first
will take place 12:30 p.m.
June 7 at The Jewish News.
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz,
will lead a discussion on
"Jewish Ethics." The host for
this program will be Arthur
Horwitz. There is a charge
which will include a deli
lunch.
The second mini-conference
is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.
June 10 at the offices of Sun-
dance Enterprise Inc., Farm-
ington. Rabbi Jacobovitz will
lead a discussion on "Juda-
ism: Beyond the Reasonable
Doubt." The host for this pro-
garm will be Gary Shiffman.
A lunch will be served; there
is no charge.
