Midrasha will offer two
classes this summer in conti-
nuing conversational Hebrew
for adults.
Both classes will run for
eight weeks and will be
taught by Ahuva Newman in
a home-based, study-group
format.
There is a charge. One class,
for continuing beginner
students, will meet Wednes-
day nights starting June 30
through Aug. 18. The other
class, for intermediate-level
students, will meet Thursday
nights July 1-Aug. 19. Both
classes will meet from
7:30-9:30 p.m. in private
homes.

Keshet Plans
Support Groups

Keshet, an organization for
Jewish families of children
with special needs, offers
parent support groups for
parents who have children of
any age with disabilities of
any kind.
The next two groups are
scheduled for Sunday even-
ings, June 6 and June 20 at
7:30 p.m. at Workmen's Cir-
cle, 26341 Coolidge, between
10 and 11 Mile roads in Oak
Park.
The parent support groups
provide an opportunity for
parents to share mutual con-
cerns and experiences in a
supportive environment. All
groups are non-sectarian and
free of charge.

Shmuel Irons
Leads Program

Machon L'Torah will sponsor
a special program 9 a.m. June
6 at the Machon Learning
Center, 15221 W. 10 Mile.
Rabbi Shmuel Irons, dean of
the Kollel Institute of Greater
Detroit, will lead a discussion
and lecture on "The Alloca-
tion of Medical Resources in
the 1990s according to
Halachah."
The program will begin
with Shachrit. Breakfast will
be served, and at 10:30 a.m.
Rabbi Irons will begin the lec-
ture. Two CME credits will be
given; there is a charge.
