Set For August
Families interested in
visiting Israel in a communi-

Aug. 2-12 national United
Jewish Appeal Family Mis-
sion to Israel at a gathering
7:30 p.m. June 10 at the home
of Michael and Marcy
Feldman.
National chairmen of the
mission, Mr. and Mrs.
Feldman will discuss the trip,
which offers a complete pro-
gram for families with
children age 7 and older — an
opportunity for families to
learn about their Jewish
heritage together.
Participants will meet the
people of Israel, encounter the
issues and celebrate together
the homecoming of Jews from
throughout the world. They
will explore Israel's ancient

Michael and Alayna Langnas
The National Office of the
Jewish National Fund will
host an 11-day mission to
Israel for people 25-40.
The cost of $1,300 per per-
son from Detroit includes air-
fare, hotels, touring and most
meals. There will be a
minimum gift required of
$500 per person.
Michael and Alayna
Langnas will be the co-chairs
of the Detroit delegation.
Michael is a partner in the
law firm of Hiller & Langnas.
A member of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund Board of Direc-
tors, he serves as co-chair of
the Young Leadership of JNF.
He is the chairman of law
related education for the
State Bar of Michigan.
Alayna attended Michigan
State University and is a
graduate of Lawrence In-
stitute of Technology. She
works as an estimator for
Curtis Glass Company and is
an active member of the
Young Leadership of JNF, as
well as of Mitzvah Hadassah,
where she has served as co-
vice president of programm-
ing and is co-vice president of
fund raising.
