She also was a member of the sisterhood board of Temple Beth El, a president, regional president and national board member of the National Council of Jewish Women, a vice president and board member of Hadassah, a vice president and board member of Sinai Women's Guild, a chairman of Metropolitan Detroit's Junior Hostesses of USO during World War II and a founding member of Theta Sigma Phi alumnae group, a National Journalism Soror- ity.
