Twelve of the women will read from the Torah and Haf- torah and participate in the Shavuot morning services May 26 and 27. The remain- ing 11 women will mark their bat mitzvah observance at Shabbat services July 31. A kiddush in honor of the b'not mitzvah will follow each service. Becoming b'not mitzvah May 26 are: Susan Hershberg Adelman. Ronna Katzman Bluford, Frances Grossman, Sharon Moss Lebovic, Candy Marcus, Robin Terebelo and Brenda Weingarten. The show, narrated by Edgar A. Guest III, will take the audience back to some of the older Broadway hits — and continue with melodies from Evita, Les Miserables and Phantom. Shirley Baker BBW Council Installs Baker Shirley Morros Baker will be installed as president of B'nai B'rith Women Council of Metropolitan Detroit at the 47th installation luncheon noon May 23 at Congregation B'nai David. Installing officer will be Lucille Gersten, East Central Region chairperson. Mrs. Baker is a life member of B'nai B'rith Women, past president of Detroit B&P/ Pisgah Chapter and was fund-raising vice president of BBW Council. She also is a member of Congregation B'nai David.
