Twenty-one women will have
their bat mitzvah obser-
vances this spring and sum-
mer at Adat Shalom.
Twelve of the women will
read from the Torah and Haf-
torah and participate in the
Shavuot morning services
May 26 and 27. The remain-
ing 11 women will mark their
bat mitzvah observance at
Shabbat services July 31. A
kiddush in honor of the b'not
mitzvah will follow each
service.
Becoming b'not mitzvah
May 26 are: Susan Hershberg

The 37th annual donor lun-
cheon for Beth Shalom's
Sisterhood is set for noon
June 3 at the synagogue.
Nancy Gurwin and Company
will present a musical produc-
tion titled Broadway . . . Then
and Now.
The show, narrated by
Edgar A. Guest III, will take
the audience back to some of
the older Broadway hits —
and continue with melodies
from Evita, Les Miserables
and Phantom.
A mini-boutique will be
held 10:30-11:45 a.m. This is
Sisterhood's major fund-

fund-raising vice president of
BBW Council. She also is a
