Dottie Dressler, a former associate for Jewish Experiences For Families (JEFF), has relocated to Sacramento, Calif. Her hus- band received a job opportu- nity on the West Coast. Ms. Dressler will pursue a career in Jewish education. She has been replaced by Julia Greenblatt. Ms. Greenblatt holds a degree in art education and has worked with JEFF on sever- al projects. Following two years of service as education director for Temple Beth El, Rabbi Barry Diamond will be heading south in June. Rabbi Diamond has accepted a similar position with Temple Emanu-El in Dallas. It is the third largest congregation in the country. "This was an excellent opportunity for me," Rabbi Diamond said. "Plus, it's closer to home (southern California)." "Barry was outstanding in his position," Mr. Kaufman said. "We did what we could to try and retain him. He was a real asset here and will be to his new congrega- tion." Both Rabbi Diamond and Ms. Dressler served on the Consortium on Jewish Education, a recently devel- oped group of educators, professionals and lay lead- ers reporting to the Agency for Jewish Education. AJE Executive Director Howard Gelberd said he is sad to see Ms. Dressler and Rabbi Diamond leave, but says the consortium will proceed. "Both individ- uals will be replaced and we will continue to move for- ward." D Edgar Scribner Edgar A.
