Over the past several
years, MarySue Munter has
worked in advisory capaci-
ties with the youth groups,
the religious school and
serves on Temple Shir
Shalom's Nominating
Committee.
As co-chairperson of the
Oneg Committee since tem-
ple opened its doors, she has
become part of the life-cycle
celebrations of Shir Shalom.
A fiber artist, she holds a
degree in education and is a
member of several local and
state pre-school organiza-
tions.
JoAnne Levy has been
active with Congregation
Shir Tikvah since it was
first conceived. She became
the co-chair of the Religious
Ritual Committee. She was
elected as a member of the
board as a trustee and after
two years was elected vice
president.
Lloyd Strausz is a former
vice president of Chicago-
based SIPI Metals Corp. He
has served on many temple
committees as well as on
the board of trustees, and is
an active officer of EMES,-
Emanu-El's Mature and
Exciting Set. Lloyd is a past
president of the West
Bloomfield United Fund.

Hold Meeting
A learning experience is on
the agenda for the annual
meeting of the Michigan
Watercolor Society June 12.
The meeting will be 10 a.m.-
3:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield
Township Public Library,
1099 Lone Pine Road, Bloom-
field Hills. Four Michigan
artists will share their talents
and expertise through var-
ious presentations.
Mark Mehaffey will give a
demonstration and Hope
Palmer will lecture.
In the afternoon session
Stanley Rosenthal who cur-
rently heads the printmaking
at Wayne State University,
will demonstrate.and lecture
on his watercolor technique
and philosophy. Ellen Mou-
coulis, a teacher at the
Birmingham-Bloomfield Art
Association and the Ann Ar-
bor Art Association, will lead
a non-traditional, interactive
painting session.
