Touch:

Pressing a fine garment is the finishing touch
in successful dry cleaning. Quality pressers ac-
quire their skills over a lifetime of work. At
MY Cleaners our quality pressers use the old
manual style presses to achieve the custom-
finished look the discriminating customer
demands.

The finishing touch — one of the many
reasons why knowledgeable customers say
"MY Cleaners is my cleaners."

Oils Exhibit
Is Opened

Located on Northwestern Highway
at 12 Mile Rd.

Anderson & Co. Fine Arts,
Grosse Pointe Farms, wel-
comes spring with a collection
of plein air oil paintings done
by Michigan artist Marlee
Brown. The exhibit runs
through June 18. The gallery
is located at 99 Kercheval;
hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tues-
day through Saturday.
Plein air, French for "open
air," describes this exhibit of
spirited and colorful land-
scapes, painted outdoors on
location by the artist. The
style, most closely associated
with Impressionism, is Ms.
Brown's inspiration. She
brings to her work energy
and enthusiasm for nature,
presenting light and color
that touch the emotions.

Adam Leemon, a local artist,
majoring in art at Eastern
Michigan University, is hav-
ing his first solo exhibit of re-
cent works at the Del Rio Bar
and Grill in Ann Arbor
through June 6.
Adam will display a collec-
tion of large oil canvases
representing abstract expres-
sions of the human form.

Nancy Thayer's wood and
metal constructions, cast
paper,and paintings on canvas
will be at Rubiner Gallery
through June 4. In addition,
a new series of acrylic on can-
vas landscape paintings are
included in this most recent
body of work. The landscapes,
exhibited for the first time,
embody the experience of
animation with calligraphic,
gestural markings also pre-
sent in her cast paper and
wood constructions. The
vibrant colors and elevated
perspective function to trig-
ger an abstract sense of the
larger whole.
The gallery is at 7001 Or-
chard Lake Road, West
Bloomfield, 626-3111.
