MATTHEW BERESH

JEFF BERGER

Ben, summa cum laude, is a
member of Phi Beta Kappa.
He participated in varsity ten-
nis, Student Congress, presi-
dential debates, over 150
hours of community service,
yearbook and a Close-Up trip
to Washington, D.C. He was
nominated for a U-M Regents
Scholar Award, received en-
trance into the Honors College
and will attend the University
of Michigan.

Berenholz participated in
the track and cross-country
teams for four years and, as a
senior, was a captain. She was
also a member of the Student
Costincil throughout her high
schaol career. She earned Phi
Beta Kappa recognition and
has been accepted to the
University of Michigan and
Northweste'rn's Medill School
of Journalism.

Beresh has attained high
honors all four years of high
school and was chosen Phi
Beta Kappa. He has been in-
volved in baseball and was
captain, of the hockey team,
where he received All-League
honors. He was involved in
AZA and volunteered at
McDonnell Towers. He was
Continental Cablevision
Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
He will attend Michigan State
University.

Berger is summa cum laude,
secretary of the class of '93, a
member of National Honor
Society, parliamentarian of
Student Government, played
varsity soccer and tennis, was
president of Youth Federation
of Temple Israel, is president
of Michigan State Temple
Youth and president-elect of
NFTY. A nominee for a U-M
Regents Scholar Merit Award
and Phi Beta Kappa, he will
attend the University of
Michigan.

JEFFREY ERNST •

Biederman is captain of the
cross-country team, member
of the track team, Varsity
Club, Senior Board and Phi
Beta Kappa. She attended
Alma College under the
Michigan Summer Institute
program to study dance. She
participated in BBYO, USY
and Young Judaea. She will
attend Michigan State Uni-
versity or the University of
Michigan to study bio-
chemistry.

Collins has been on Class
Board for four years. She is a
member of National Honor
Society, Scholars Plus, In-
teract Service Club, BBYO,
the yearbook staff, and is co-
editor of her school's creative
arts magazine. She will attend
the University of Michigan.

Cousens received his varsity
letter in fencing and has com-
peted in the Junior Olympics
for the past three years. 'He is
a member of the National
Thespians Society and AZA.
A National Merit Finalist, he
has been admitted to Nor-
thwestern University and to
the honors colleges at the
• University of Michigan and
MiChigan State. •

Ernst is a member of Na-
tional Honor Society, Student
Congress (vice president), won
the 1992 .underclassman his-
tory and student leadership
awards, University of Michi-
gan Regents Scholarship and
a place on the 1992 Homecom-
ing Court. He was All-State in
tennis in 1992, team captain
in 1993; member of the 1992
state championship debate
team and editor of the school
paper. He will attend
Princeton.
