Chafes Concert
Features Duo

The Julius Chajes Concert
Series will close its 1992-93
season with a recital featur-
ing violinist Paul Kantor and
pianist Virginia Weckstrom
3:30 p.m. May 23 in the Jan-
ice Charach Epstein Mu-
seum/Gallery at the Maple-
Drake Community Center.
Paul Kantor received his
bachelor of music and master
of music degrees at the
Juilliard School. He has been
on the faculty of the Yale
University School of Music,
the New England Conser-
vatory and the Juilliard
School.
Appearing with Mr. Kantor
is his wife, pianist Virginia
Weckstrom, who received her
master's degree from the Yale
School of Music. She was
pianist/harpsichordist with
the New Haven Symphony
and pianist for the Wall
Street Chamber Players. Mrs.
Weckstrom is on the faculty
at the Aspen Music School
and has taught at the Univer-
sity of Michigan.
Music.
There will be a guided pre-
concert tour of the Gallery
exhibit "Works on Paper" at
2:30 p.m. for those attending
the concert.

New Board

Congregation Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses elected their
board of trustees and officers
for 1993-1994. The following
members will be installed:
president, Franklin L. Levy;
vice presidents, Alfred D.
Bricker, Beatrice Mondry,
Dotty Smith; secretaries,
Gloria Ruskin, Sidney Black-
man; treasurer, Joseph Mash.
The following board of
trustees will serve 3-year
terms: Dr. Henry Citron,
Elaine Cohen, Henry Lon-
nerstater, Dr. Maxwell Nadis,
Alan Rothberger and Mark
Segal. Ronald Anstandig will
serve a 1-year term as trustee.
