lin of High-Tech Magic, will
appear at the Fox Theatre

while suspended above the
audience.

The Friends of the Baldwin
Public Library will host
Michael W. R. Davis, author
of America's Favorite Homes,
as speaker for their annual
meeting in the library's
rotary room. The free pro-
gram is open to the entire
community 7:30 p.m. May 12.
Mr. Davis, who teaches
architectural history at East-
ern Michigan University,
recently completed an inven-
tory of American architecture
of the first half of the 20th
century, dating from 1900 to
World War II. Using numer-
ous slides to illustrate his
talk, Mr. Davis will highlight
Birmingham homes from his
book.

GROWN UPS

YOU SHOULDN'T EAT
EVERYTHING PUT IN
FRONT OF YOU.
You should avoid foods high in
cholesterol. It's a fact, a high
blood cholesterol level sub-
stantially increases your
chances of developing heart
disease. By cutting down on
fatty, rich foods, you can do
yourself a big favor. You could
lower your blood cholesterol
level and reduce your risk of
heart disease.
