3 tablespoons firmly
packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons wheat
bran
2 tablespoons whole
wheat flour
2 tablespoons chopped
almonds
1/2 teaspoon ground
cinnamon
2 tablespoons parve
margarine
Preheat oven to 375 de-
grees. Combine cooked rice,
blueberries and 2 tablespoons
brown sugar. Coat 6 individ-
ual custard cups or a 1 1/2
quart baking dish with non-
stick spray. Place rice mixture
in cups or dish; set aside.
Combine bran, flour, almonds,
remaining brown sugar and
cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in
margarine until mixture re-
sembles coarse meal. Sprin-
kle evenly over rice mixture.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until
thoroughly heated. Serve
warm, garnished with addi -
tional fresh blueberries.
To prepare in microwave,
cook 1 1/2 quart dish, uncov-
ered on high 4-5 minutes. In-
dividual dishes can be
microwaved 2 minutes. Let
stand 2 minutes before serv-
ing.
Per serving: 188 calories; 3
gms. protein; 32 gms. carbo-
hydrates; 6 gms. fat; 0 mgs.
cholesterol; 49 mgs. sodium.

CRAZY CHOCOLATE
CAKE
(Parve) serves 9.
3/4 cup unbleached flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons canola oil
1/2 cup hot water
3 tablespoons seedless
raspberry jam
Preheat oven to 350 de-
grees. Sift all dry ingredients
into an ungreased 8x8 inch
pan. Make three holes in dry
ingredients. Pour vinegar
into the first hole, vanilla
into the second and oil into
the third hole. Pour hot wa-
ter all over and stir with
wooden spoon until com-
pletely mixed. Bake in pre-
heated oven for 10 minutes
or until toothpick inserted in
center of the cake comes out
clean. Heat jam in saucepan
or microwave oven and brush
over top to glaze.
Per serving: 144 calories; 2
gms. protein; 24 gms. carbo-
hydrates; 5 gms. fat; 0 mgs.
cholesterol; 47 mgs. sodium.
