renew their wedding
vows at the Shipudei
Ha'Geffen Restaurant in
Jerusalem.
Myron Milgrom, Lloyd
Weingarden, Alan Schwartz
and Akiva Cohen held Rabbi
Irwin Groner's talit as a
Huppah over the couple,
while the Lutzes renewed
their vows in honor of their
40th anniversary.
Helen Weingarden and
Doris Friedman were Mrs.

Lutz's bridesmaids. Lou
Friedman was Mr. Lutz's
best man. Rabbi Groner offi-
ciated, and Mr. Lutz broke a
glass.
Special guests included
members of Mission buses
number 23 and 24.
"I felt very spiritual and
elated being re-married in
Jerusalem," said Mrs. Lutz.
"I had such strong feelings
about doing this," said Mr.
Lutz. "We're elated to be in
Israel and this makes it even
more memorable for us." ❑

Germany Disputes
Neo-Nazi Numbers

Berlin (JTA) — The German
government has rejected a
claim by an Israeli journalist
who infiltrated German neo-
Nazi groups that the coun-
try's right-wing extremist
movement is larger than of-
ficially acknowledged by the
authorities.
After six months of in-
vestigation, Yaron Svoray
held a news conference in
New York last week in
which he challenged the offi-
cial German estimates and
also said he witnessed open
sympathy by German police
toward neo-Nazis.
Mr. Svoray, whose ex-
penses were paid by the
Simon Wiesenthal Center, a
Los Angeles-based Jewish
organization which combats
anti-Semitism worldwide,
said his most significant find
was the leadership potential
of neo-Nazi Wolfgang
Juchem, a former soldier
and intelligence man.
However, the govern-
ment's Office for the Protec-
tion of the Constitution, as
well as security officials, ex-
perts on the right wing and
even one neo-Nazi leader
have all dismissed Mr.
Svoray's claims.
A spokesperson for the
Constitutional Protection
Office in Cologne rejected
figures by Mr. Svoray, who
claimed the neo-Nazi Na-
tionalistic Front has 8,600
members and another neo-
Nazi organization, the Free

Labor Party, has 980 mem-
bers.
The government
spokesperson said the Na-
tional Front, declared illegal
by the interior minister last
November, has 50 to 80
members, and the Free
Labor Party has 220 mem-
bers.
Burkhard Schroeder, a
journalist and expert on neo-
Nazis, said the National
Front has no more than 200
members, half of whom are
also members in other neo-

much as I doubt the figure 6
million" for the Holocaust's
Jewish victims.
Posing as an Australian
sympathizer by the name of
