Glazier have been named
chairmen of the annual
donor of the American
Women for Bar-Ilan to be
held 11:30 a.m. May 10,
hosted by Doreen Her-
melin. Dr. Marcy Borof-
sky will be the after-
noon's speaker and
entertainment will be
provided by Nancy
Gurwin and Company.
Mrs. Borovoy . is a long-
time friend of Bar-Ilan
and serves on both its
general board and that of
the American Women.
She participated in the
two Bar-Ilan Midwest
missions in 1988 and
1990 and is a sponsor of
the University's Adopt-A-
Student Exodus program.
In addition, she is a
board member of Con-
gregation B'nai Moshe
and of Sinai Hospital's
Women's Guild, is past
president of the Women's

Auxiliary of Straith
Memorial Hospital, and
is a recipient of the
Jewish Theological Semi-
nary's Centennial Award
of Honor.
Dr. Borofsky is a past
participant in Bar-Ilan's
one-year program. She
serves as a board mem-
ber of the Women's
Division of the Jewish
Federation of Metro-
politan Detroit and as
treasurer of Hillel Day
School's Executive Board.

James Safran is a member
of the board of directors of

Zedek. He is CEO of Safran

Microforms, Incorporated.
He is a board member of

Forms Industries. Active in
Jewish communal life, Mr.
Safran is the president as
well as the national officer of
the American Technion
Society. He is past president
of the American/Israel
Chamber of Commerce, of
the American /Israel
Education Institute, as well
as of the • Young Adult
Division of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit.
Mrs. Cook and Mr. Safran
