Sidney Bolkosky, author of

Harmony and Dissonance.

Mainster will give an insight
into providing free medical
care and advice to the under-
privileged of Third World
countries.

SZ Hosts
Woman's World

The Sisterhood of Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek will hold
its annual fund-raising event,
Woman's World '93, May 5 at
the synagogue. Beginning at
10 a.m. Marketplace Bou-
tiques will be open and con-
tinental breakfast will be
served.
Luncheon will be served at
noon, following which will be
the speaker, Rabbi Harold
Kushner, rabbi laureate of
Temple Israel, Natick, Mass.

Rabbi Kushner wrote

When Bad Things Happen To
Good People. This program
will be about his new book, To
Life, a practical and spiritual

guide to Jewish tradition.
Rabbi Kushner graduated
from Columbia University
and was ordained at the
Jewish Theological Seminary
in 1972. He also has taught at
the Rabbinical School of the
Jewish Theological Seminary.
