ChaZaKaH, the Adat Shalom
seniors group, will host Gan-
nady Zut and the music of the
balalaika 12:30 p.m. May 6 at
the synagogue.
Following refreshments, Mr.
Zut will entertain with class-
ical and modern composi-
tions, as well as some tradi-
tional Russian folk songs. Mr.
Zut, born in Siberia, has had
extensive music training and
a significant musical career
in the Soviet Union. He im-
migrated to the United States
one year ago and has ap-
peared as guest soloist with
the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra. He will be accom-
panied on the piano by his
wife, Tatyana.

Rabbi Schwartz
Gives Lecture
The Trowbridge 'retirement
facility will present Rabbi
Dannel I. Schwartz of Temple
Shir Shalom in a complimen-
tary spring lecture 1 p.m.
April 29.

founder and rabbi of Temple
Shir Shalom. He will invite
the audience to become more
aware of the world about
them and participate in their
community via activism.
