Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

This state-of-the-art rehabilitation pro-
gram has been developed for those who
have had bypass surgery, a heart attack,
or have been diagnosed for heart disease.
This ongoing program is held at Sinai's
Blumberg Health Center and is covered
by most insurance programs. For in-

Cardiovascular Fitness Evaluation

The Cardiovascular Fitness Evaluation
has been developed for individuals who
want to find out their overall fitness lev-
el. The evaluation includes blood work,
medical history, body fat analysis, tread-
mill fitness test and exercise prescrip-
tion. The program is held at Sinai
Hospital's Cardiovascular Fitness Cen-
ter in the Blumberg Health Center. For

Childbirth and Family Lite Education

Sinai Hospital offers numerous classes
in childbirth and family life education
both at Sinai Hospital and at various set-
tings in the community. Among the
classes offered are: Prepared Child-
birth, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cae-
sarean), CPR, Premarital AIDS Coun-
seling and many others. To receive a

Health and Wellness Program

This program is designed for those who
don't have heart disease and want to get
started on a plan to improve their over-

This monthly support group is for grad-
uates of Sinai's Functional Recovery Pro-
gram. The dates and times vary each
month. Topics are specific to individuals
suffering from chronic pain. Contact

Living with Cancer

This support group is directed to indi-
viduals with a diagnosis of cancer, their
families and friends. A series of five
weeklysessions with guests speakers is
offered quarterly. There isno charge,
however, preregistration is required.
